Poem: Concealing the Real

safe

I can’t fix my problems if I don’t face them, and I can’t face them if they are something I always attempt to conceal. I can’t pretend they’re not there because they are very real. I can’t hide in wait anymore because I can never enjoy being free of them if they run out of life to steal. I struggle still, but I’ll survive because the suffering can never outweigh my will.
