Guilty

The guilt you say I don’t feel are the strings that hold me up.
They keep me standing when all I want to do is fall.
They keep me fighting when I don’t have the strength.
They form a knot when my rope is out of length.
I am happy to keep dancing if it leads to a way to make amends.
Just don’t act like I don’t feel guilty for the wrongs I have done.
Please, don’t give me a reason to unravel, because I am so tired of coming undone.
