A parasite wiggled into my ear. It’s made a home there and whispers things only I can hear. It started small, but the negativity grew, until all that filled my head was what I thought that I knew, that I would never achieve my goal, fail at every turn, then time passed on and on, the leaves changed and snow came instead of rain, but I still feel this pain. You’ll never be able to get rid of me. I am the fear that no one else can see, but I know that you can feel me.
